The necks are unstained old mahogany. They are as light as feathers and sound heavenly plugged and unplugged. Thanks for your advice and service.”

  • You sold me the back and side set for this as well as thickness sanding the top. Koa neck and body with bluestain Engleman spruce top. This guitar sounds as good it looks.

  • George Says: “Just saw your new website and it reminded me of the fact that I bought a bookmatched koa top about a year ago from you. Attached is a pic of the guitar I built. Koa over swamp ash body, maple/rosewood neck. The pickguard is etched aluminum. I based the Hawaiian lagoon scene on the old metal bodied National Resonators, and had a local artist do the etching. You can't really see it in the photos, but the neck pickup cover is engraved ”Aloha.“
