I make a note whenever they are present in any of the pieces. I never put up for sale any sets that have whay I consider an objectionable amount of these very tiny holes. Usually no more than two or three. I have sold lots of these and no one has ever considered them a problem that couldn't be easily fiixed whith just a small drop of resin or glue. If you are not familiar with these, they are very tiny- generally less than the diameter of a sewing needle. The following is a quote from a customer as to the tonal qualities of Mango. "A perfect tone for a ukulele, and I'm really looking forward to building a small-body guitar out of it. It has the warmth of koa, but with a bit more definition and attack as notes are struck. It has a great range across the acoustic spectrum, with unusually good balance. The pores need to be filled for a gloss lacquer finish, but that is its only downside. The wood bends and works easily. It has become one of my favorite instrument woods." I have been getting a lot of requests for a description and not being a musician I can't really feel qualified to give my opinion. I have always had rave reviews from luthiers and players alike about Mango.
